Visit to a Maasai Village (Safari Part 3)

Nearby the resort was a Maasai Village that we toured to learn more about the indiginous culture.

All the men have a jumping contest, the higher you jump, the more likely you will get a girlfriend! ( FYI…Dad and Isaac were NOT trying out for that!)

We watched a Maasai Warrior make a fire buy hand! NO matches or lighter…they don’t even know what those are.

Pictures of what a Maasai house looks like inside.  They mix mud and cow dung to cover up a stick framed structure.Maasi experience

A calf recently died but in order to keep the mom producing milk for the community they stuffed the calf hide with grass and regularly present it to the cow to lick.

  1. This is like being on National Geographic. I think you should figure out how to send some of your pictures to National Graphic "your shoot". Not sure how you submit but something to look into. This is so amazing!
